Internship

For my internship I will be a Demonstrator at Dance Arts Project. A demonstrator is an older more experienced student who helps with younger less experienced dancers classes, essentially a Teaching Assistant. I have been a student at Dance Arts Project since I was around four or five, I remember looking up to my demonstrators, and wanting to be just like them. The first time I did demonstrating was between the summer of 6th and 7th grade for a dance camp. Later I have been a demonstrator for level 1 (8 and 9 year olds) and Pre-Ballet (6 and 7 year olds), as well as having had subbed many times for Creative Movement (4 and 5 year olds). This year I will be demonstrating for Creative Movement (4 and 5 year olds) as well as providing support for the two new demonstrators.
